It was an exciting day when Cory finally got his letterman jacket for Copper Hills High School - he lettered in cross-country.
There is a little pressure in the Nicholes family to earn your letter. Mom earned her letter for 4 years in cross-country and 4 years in track; Dad lettered in wrestling and track; and Ashley lettered for 4 years in cross-country and 4 years in track. Yes, we are a little competitive.

Race for the Cure - Salt Lake City 2008
Each year Ashley and I take part in the Salt Lake City Race for the Cure in memory of Aunt Hazel and her battle with breast cancer...and in celebration of the many other women who will face the challenge. This year our theme was "save the jugs"...a variation on the theme "save the whales"...note the little whales on the milk jugs on our shirts. We also featured a picture of Aunt Hazel on the back with the caption "our special angel Aunt Hazel".
We hope that Aunt Hazel would see the humor in our shirts, and was smiling down on us that day.

Ashley's graduation party...
We had 2 graduation parties for Ashley - one in Lewiston and one in Salt Lake City. It was fun to meet all of Ash's friends, professors and team mates...as well as gathering with family for this special time in her life. The party in Lewiston was hosted at a cabin on the river banks, and the Salt Lake party was held at a park. A really special memory was spending time with Uncle Matt at the Salt Lake party. He had fun watching the DVD that we made of Ashley's life "so far" ... he wanted to watch it over and over again.
